If it's so beautiful in harsh winter, how beautiful it must be otherwise...as you travel from Aberdeen to Edinburgh, the woods and lakes, endless farms and pastures, rolling hills and valleys of Scotland take your breath away...till you come to the magnificent Queensferry cable bridge over the sea...

The small and picture perfect town of Aberdeen in Scotland has a jewel in its heart, the Duthie Park. Even in harsh winter, the vast grounds and sparkling streams are a delight to the eyes. Maintained with great care, the Park has greenhouses which offer you a taste of vegetation in the tropical jungles, the arid deserts, and flora and fauna from all five continents.

You can visit the place every day and still find it magical. Nestled in the Eastern Ghats, near the coastal city of Visakhapatnam, the hill station of Araku is filled with mountains, valleys, waterfalls and rich vegetation... sparkling streams greet you as you climb splendid view points, coffee and spice plantations enchant you, just like the endless flower gardens where honey is made before visitors, the climax are the millions of years old underground Borra caves packed with hidden natural treasures, tunnels, dainty train lines, museums, camping sites, trekking paradises, the bamboo chicken cooked on slow fires amid thick jungles, friendly tribals dancing to haunting music...Araku is to be experienced, not to be described....

There are forts and then there is Golconda...pride of the Deccan... An architectural marvel, easily over 800 years old and still standing strong....those rocks have seen mighty dynasties, moonlit romances, priceless diamonds being mined, terrible wars and glorious victories.... Unconquerable till defeated by treachery, Golconda saw its golden days during the prosperous reign of Quli Qutub Shah, who fought destiny to marry his beloved Queen Bhagmati, who was given the title of Hyder or lion, and after whom Hyderabad is named ... Within the fort, an ancient, beautiful temple of Kali and a divine mosque stand next to each other till today, narrating the true spirit of India, the immortal love of a Hindu queen and her Muslim king!

Built between 1750 to 1869, the Chowmahalla Palace was the official residence of the Asaf Jahi Nizams of Hyderabad. Grand architecture, marble marvels, crystal and gold chandeliers, enchanting gardens, finest of silks, priceless jewels, vintage cars, mighty weapons, rare historical documents, all reminders of a glorious past and rulers who built the great city of Hyderabad.
